What I’m offering:

  • The possibility to build a high-end simulator at low cost by yourself. Its impressive features include:
    • Actuator stroke: 620mm with a near silent ball screw SFA 1620
    • Pitch and roll angles: greater than 30°
    • Yaw angle: 4
    • Vertical displacement of 700mm
    • In-plane displacement: 950mm
    • Resting footprint: 2200mmx2200mm (can be reduced, at the expense of performance), see blog
    • Ceiling height: 2400mm (can be reduced, at the expense of performance)

These strokes/angles may seem excessive, but are important to allow multiple effects at the same time, without being limited by the rig’s hardware:

  • The total cost is around 10,000€
    • The actuators have a stroke of 620mm, and the platform allows very large angles and displacements (see above)
    • 4 axis design, which allows to have a bearing at the end of the screw and thus to limit the vibrations ! see the blog
    • No mechanical parts are 3D printed, everything is machined/laser cut, see the blog
    • No need for special DIY equipment (no welding, cutting of large material etc …)
    • The motors are equipped with brakes for total safety
    • The aluminium profiles allow unprecedented flexibility and modularity
    • Other recommended parts are of high quality (electrical box, emergency stops, power supplies, etc.)
    • Instructions, explanations and after-sales service!
  • You can choose only the kit that interests you (pivots, jacks, platform). The rest will be to buy by yourself, there is no added value to go through the site, I give you all the references.
  • THE KITS ARE ASSEMBLED BY YOURSELF AND I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS THAT OCCUR FROM INCORRECT ASSEMBLY.
